2016 Amway eSpring International Women 9-Ball Championship

Congratulations to Chezka Luy Centeno who at 16 years of age from the Philippines has won her biggest tournament to date and certainly one of the most prestigious, over veteran and World Champion Kelly Fisher by a score of 11-8 .

I've witnessed Chezka growth since she was 13 years of age at the 2012 Womens World Ten Ball , she has made the Philippines so proud today what a terrific win .

Amway Cup Update:

Once again I want to congratulate Chezka Luy Centeno

Here is how her run through the field looked at only 16 years of age

Chezka became the youngest winner in the event’s nineteen year history an event by the way Allison Fisher has played in every year of existence .

Chezka qualified in stage 1 of the event going undefeated; winning, 7:3 against Eun Ji Park, 7:5 against Ga Young Kim, 7:1 against Sara Rocha, and 7:2 against Annette Grigg.

Chezka then advanced through the final 16 knock-out rounds winning, 7:1 against Amalia Matas, 9:1 against 2015 Amway Champion Yuan Chun Lin, 9:8 against Han Yu, breaking and running out the final rack, and then coming from 1:5 behind to defeat Kelly Fisher 11:8 in the final.
